Recent charitable event appearances: Justin headlined a benefit for a Washington Township, NJ, family who recently lost their father, at the Commerce Bank Performing Arts Center on May 12. He also participated in a celebrity football game in South Philadelphia sponsored by Children's World Organization, a charity that raises funds on behalf of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, on May 13. See fan photos and stories in our Forum.
Good Day Philadelphia:
Justin was interviewed along with Sal Mazzotta, the producer/star of the
upcoming Mafioso II movie and our local gal caught it on video. You can check out the video at
this link.
Charity Raffle! In conjunction with the May 25th Meet and Greet, the film's producer is raffling off four tickets. The
proceeds will go to charity, and even if you cannot attend (or already have a
ticket), you can participate to sponsor a ticket for a deserving recipient.

Are You Impatiently Waiting, Too, For Justin's New Jazz CD?
Here's a treat in the meantime. Check out our
Concert Audio page and download the new mp3s we added of Justin
performing at the Children's Hospital Benefit in Columbus, OH, in May, 2004.
We especially recommend the incredible spontaneous a cappella performance of
"Who's Lovin' You?" If hearing that makes you even more
impatient, we apologize but that was our evil plan. :)
NAACP Leadership 500 Summit: According to
a press release from the NAACP, Justin
attended this summit, along with actors Kerry Washington ("Ray") and Rachel True
("Half and Half"),
NAACP Chairman Julian Bond and Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree.
The summit was held May 26-29th at the Sandestin Golf and Beach
Resort in Destin, Florida. Young adults were invited to the Summit to
outline some of the problems facing minorities in the 21st Century. Given Justin's work with the programs to support
music education, we are not the least surprised he would be included in this
program. Wonderful work, Justin! Update: Click
here for a photo of Justin with a group of fans and their story
about meeting him at the event.
FilmFakers: Song Island:
In this show, which premiered on AMC fall
2004, Justin and other crew members fooled three unsuspecting actors into
believing they were shooting a new musical comedy. Justin not only
sings and dances but shows off some serious comedic chops. Seriously!
The boy is funny! They don't call him "the amazing Mr. G." for
nothing! This program has also been playing in the UK and will
soon be seen in the Middle East. Hello to all our international
visitors! We have screencaps, video, and audio from the show in our
Multimedia section.
I don’t know how many people have mp3s of their favorite performances, but this gem from Burt Bacharach Week in Season One cannot be ignored. This, to me, is how brilliant Justin can be. The soothing string arrangement with that warm brandy voice of his conjures a spell that television kind of ruins. When you listen without the visual, it takes you to another place. Awesome.
Sting7, The Top 20 Greatest American Idol Performances Ever, FoxesOnIdol.com
An mp3 of this "brilliant" performance is included in our
Audio
section.
In his recent LifeStyle Magazine interview, Justin noted that, "People
usually remember me singing 'Let's Stay Together'. . . ." Is that
your favorite? Check out Justin's
Contestant's Choice performance and the judges' glowing comments (who can forget the "two
words" Paula coined that night?) in our
Multimedia-American Idol section.
We excerpted Justin's verse in "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" from the American Idol Christmas CD, where he shows off his jazz chops. Check it out for a taste of what's to come: Justin's jazzy SCICTT.
Justin is back in California, living in the Hollywood Hills. He
recently attended the CD release party for fellow American Idol 1 alum Jim
Verraros. Another Season One alumna, Angela Peel, was there and took a
picture with Justin, originally posted on her
website.

Announcing essentialjustin.com, the Essential Justin Guarini Website!
Welcome to a new website dedicated to the talent, the charisma, the career, the essence
of Justin Guarini. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, up-to-date and friendly site that
celebrates the spirit of this amazing man. Our goal is to provide an information service for everyone ranging from the casual fan looking for an update on the internet to a longtime fan searching for particular information.
This is place for Justin fans where everyone is welcome... created by people who believe in Justin and want to share their belief in him.
Site highlights:
The Boston Globe reported that Justin had an early 26th birthday party at the upscale pool hall "Felt" in Boston this past weekend (October 16th).
After having lived in LA for most of the past year, Justin is moving back to the east coast. The move is because "things are heating up [for him] in the East." Sounds like a hint to us. ;>)
Justin's birthday is October 28th. He turns 26 this year. We'll be starting a "Happy Birthday!" thread at the essentialjustin message board about a week or so before his birthday.
Justin lives in California, in the Hollywood Hills. He has been seen about town with actress/dancer Nancy Anderson, who appeared with Justin in "From Justin to Kelly" as "Insulted Girl." A while back, he attended the CD release party for fellow American Idol 1 alum Jim Verraros. Another Season One alumna, Angela Peel, was there and took a picture with Justin, originally posted on her website.
