HELLO AGAIN: "American Idol's" Justin Guarini disappeared for the last eight months, but now he's back with a new plan, a new 'do and new management. It was highly reported that he had been signed by mega manager Benny Medina, but Guarini sets the record straight: "Originally Benny and I had tried a bit of a tentative working relationship, but at the end of the day, it didn't work out. He had his priorities, and he's been focusing a lot on Mariah (Carey). It was one of those mutual things where it was like, 'look, this isn't quite the right fit,' but we parted amicably," says Guarini, who's now with a consultant group in Washington, D.C. Things seem to be looking up for the fallen "Idol" as he is "currently in negotiations for a new Broadway show. There are also a lot of film and television projects under the pipeline, so there is a lot of cool stuff happening."
