The year 2002 was jam-packed with trend-setting
highs and let's-hope-we never-see-them-again lows.
We watched Yves Saint Laurent take his final bow and said goodbye to clothing
pioneer Bill Blass and makeup maestro Kevyn Aucoin.
We winced as a new breed of movie star -- the incredibly shrinking actress --
began to disappear before our eyes. But we smiled as we saw women with curves
featured on the big screen, the small screen and on stage.
We took out our teasing combs as American Idol's Justin Guarini, Austin
Powers' Beyonce Knowles and pop diva Whitney Houston let their 'fros show.
