RCA Records currently has the No. 1 album and No. 1 single in the nation. "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This" is the nation's favorite song, and 25 years after his death, the original American idol, Elvis Presley, is king of the albums chart. RCA general manager Richard Sanders spoke recently with The Hollywood Reporter's music editor, Tamara Conniff.

THR: Have you signed any of the "American Idol" finalists?

Sanders: We ended up signing Tamyra (Gray), Nikki (McKibbin) and Justin (Guarini). We'll be having new singles from all of those artists coming out in December, and the expectation is to have everyone's albums out before the next "American Idol" season.
