'American Idol" finalists Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini are
enjoying their time in the spotlight and are hungry for more, but they say there
are no hard feelings between them.
"We don't act - we are the best of friends." Guarini said backstage
at the MTV Video Music Awards last week. "The competition is really with
myself, trying to do better with each song."
Clarkson said that regardless of the outcome, to be revealed tomorrow night,
they are already winners. After all, both are expected on the "American
Idol" tour, which hits Nassau Coliseum Oct. 27. Both also will be on an
"American Idol" compilation due out Oct. 1, with the winner completing
a full album set for Nov. 26 release.
"We are getting to live out our dreams," she said, laughing. "And
I don't have to be a waitress any more."
