Add another band to the list of artists taking their music to the Great White
Way. Parts of the Beach Boys' catalog will be used for a new Broadway
musical called "Good Vibrations," which will hit the stage in early December at
New York's Eugene O'Neill Theatre, according to Playbill. John
Carrafa of "Urinetown" will direct and choreograph the show, which is not a
biographical tale of the band, and will use more than 30 songs written by
Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys. Oh, and if you think this all sounds a
little familiar, you're not alone: Vassar College recently presented the musical
featuring first season "American Idol" runner-up, Justin Guarini. ...
