MTV winner announced Fans have voted 18-year-old Tyler Banks as the ultimate
winner of MTV's "The Wade Robson Project" show. The announcement was
made Wednesday by officials of the cable channel.
More than 5.7 million votes were cast through MTV.com over the weekend and on
Monday to make Banks the recipient of $100,000 in cash, a $10,000 wardrobe,
agency representation and an opportunity to make his professional debut on
former N'Sync-er JC Chasez's new music video.
The series, which debuted Sept. 1, gave amateur dancers a chance to compete in
original freestyle, street or dance battles using choreographer Robson's own
difficult routines. In each round of competition, dancers were eliminated by the
audience, Robson and a panel of celebrity judges including Jessica Simpson, Mya,
Murphy Lee, Dream, JC Chasez, Master P., Justin Guarini and
choreographers Chris Judd, Eddie Garcia and Dave Scott.
