Cupid Takes a Holiday

You probably can't recall what you had for dinner last night, but you can still get misty thinking of the first suitor who brought you chocolates on Valentine's Day.

The memories we forge at this most romantic of moments stay as sharp as the tip of the arrow poised to fly off Cupid's bow.

With that in mind, we offer a compendium of their V-Day recollections.

"My strongest memories are of being at Lenape Middle School in Bucks County [Pa.] and feeling like an idiot giving out cards to all my friends. You had to do it for every girl in the class, but you'd write a little something extra to 'the one' and hope nobody else sees it. That's where my first big crush was. Her name was Sandra, and she was this beautiful mix between American and Mideastern. She reminded me of Princess Jasmine from 'Aladdin.'
