COSMOgirl! mag has listed Mercer, PA, Mayor Christopher
Portman, 21, "as one of its 10 most eligible college men in
America." He's named alongside celebs "such as actor Josh
Hartnett, American Idol star Justin Guarini and world-champion
skier Jeremy Bloom." Portman, a Westminster College student,
started his mayoral bid "while still in high school and was
elected at age 19" about two years ago. He said of his new
designation: "Who would have thought being the mayor of Mercer
would land you that" (AP/Burlington County Times, 9/9).
